Preventive Health and Immunizations
Who is Eligible:
St. Clair County residents.
Services Offered:
- Immunization Services: Vaccines available for eligible infants, children, adolescents, and adults include Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Hemophilus influenza type b (HIB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HPV, Influenza, COVID-19, Meningococcal ACWY, Meningococcal B, Rotavirus, Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) monoclonal antibody, Respiratory syncytial virus vaccine (RSV), Streptococcus pneumoniae (PCV), Varicella, and Zoster.
- Disease Control: Disease investigations, identifying and reporting of outbreaks, and prevention of epidemics.
- Tuberculosis (TB) Control: Testing, treatment, and follow-up for individuals with known or suspected cases of tuberculosis and their contacts. TB testing is also available for students and employees in high-risk categories.
- Titer Testing: Blood antibody testing for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Rabies, and Varicella.
- Public Resources: Prevention education and resources available upon request.
Payment and Fee Information:
- Service Fees: Vaccines and testing are provided via a low-cost, sliding-fee schedule. Current pricing is available by contacting the department. Routine Tuberculosis (TB) tests are subject to a fee.
- Billing: TB testing and treatment for known or suspected cases and their contacts utilize a third-party billing process through the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the St. Clair County Health Department.
- Insurance: Medicaid and most private insurance plans are accepted.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover (credit or debit).
- Transaction Fees: Transactions made via credit or debit card are subject to the following:
- Base Fee: A $1.50 charge applies to all card transactions.
- Convenience Fee: A 2.75% fee applies to all total amounts exceeding $54.00.

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM remaining Mondays through Fridays by appointment.
Services are provided by appointment; walk-ins are accommodated as the schedule allows.
