HIV Testing Guidance:

The CDC maintains specific guidelines for HIV screening across various populations. The CDC suggest at least one HIV test for all individuals (15 years and older) while annual testing is established for those with specific risk factors. HIV screening is included as part of  prenatal care during pregnancy, with repeated testing during the third trimester done in areas with higher rates of perinatal HIV infection. For certain populations, testing every 3 to 6 months is an available option for closer health monitoring.
