2022-2023 Flu Season Information
The St. Clair County Health Department and Teen Health locations are offering a variety of flu vaccinations (while supplies last) including:
- Quadrivalent enhanced (ages 65 and older)
- Quadrivalent standard-dose (ages 6 months and older)
- Quadrivalent egg-free (ages 6 months and older)
- Quadrivalent Flu Mist (ages 2 through 49 years old) *Call for availability*
Follow us on social media @scchdmi or visit www.beattheflu.org for vaccine updates.
The best prevention anyone 6 months of age and older has against the flu is to get vaccinated every year. Even when circulating flu strains aren’t a perfect match, flu vaccination still provides protection and can help to decrease hospitalizations and doctor visits. Flu can be spread any time of the year, so don’t wait – vaccinate!
Most insurance is accepted and consider flu vaccination a covered benefit. For those uninsured or underinsured, cost will vary based on income eligibility and family size.
