In 2003, The U.S. Department of Agriculture deemed St. Clair County International Airport a Transatlantic Port of Entry. In April 2015, the airport also took responsibility for the removal of regulated trash. International Flights and Regulated Trash must contact the United States Customs and Border Protection, Agriculture Inspection at (810) 989-8839 and the Airport at (810) 364-6890 24 hours prior to entry.
