Each 4-H fundraising event must have approval from the county 4-H staff. If a group is planning to hold a fund-raiser, the group must complete and submit a county 4-H Fundraiser Application to the county 4-H staff at least 10 business days before the proposed fundraising activity.
Preparing food - call the 4-H office with help in obtaining a permit from the Health Department when preparing food for an event. It is suggested that you take a class called "Cooking for Crowds" with an Extension Educator to provide safe food for your event.
Within 10 business days following an approved fundraising event, complete and submit a county 4-H Fundraising Report Form to the county 4-H staff.
The 4-H Coordinator is very helpful when planning fund-raisers, please call to go over your plan with her so she can help with the event.
